Attack on Titan has to be one of the best anime's I've seen this year. It gave me that unique and unusual feeling that Gantz did the first time I saw it. Very different kind of anime, feels much more mature, grown up, lots of emotions and deeply woven thoughts throughout every character. I would literaly be on the edge of my seat during the action sequences and when any episode would end I could not believe I had to wait an entire week for the next one!

Best part is it seems there is going to be a season 2 since there is still a whole lot of things to reveal and answer. Even though every time an answer would sometimes create two new questions with this anime, you still feel satisfied and know that the new answers are coming. I can't stand anime's that never explain anything and just leave you hanging at the end of it's last season. You can tell that the writers for Attack on Titan want to eplain everything and they will but it will take at least a second season to do so.

So if anime is your thing and you have never heard of Attack on Titan then something is wrong with you ;-P but seriously check it out. You won't regret it!

Well I've been so busy because of Valentines that I've neglected my first love (dA). It's been a whirlwind month of love gained and love lost. As you know I'm bi and have been dating my beautiful man for a couple months now and close to V-day I met the most gorgeous girl with the most sexy dark long red victorian style curls that I met at a Valentines party. My bf knows that I date women too and so when I told him about her he said "wow she sounds hot, ask her out!" So I took his advice lol.

Well this vixen and I hit it off so well that we started dating and soon after my bf's job required him to move to a different state. I know this job meant a great deal to him and he would move up a lot if he decided to move. After many tears and lots of late night cuddling discussions we decided it would be best for him to take the promotion.

We both have tried long distance relationships and we both hated them so we both came to the heartbreaking agreement that it would be best to end the relationship but remain friends.
I know some might feel that "hey but you got a replacement" but it doesn't feel that way to me at all. A gf doesn't replace my bf sweetheart but I am glad I'm not left completely alone.
As of right now my ex-bf (ugh that hurts saying that), is far far away but me and my newly loved gf are really getting closer and closer as the days move forward.

It's hard being bi not only to find two people of the opposite sex to understand and except the fact that your heart could be shared with another. But when you actually find two people like that it's a blessing. Then to loose one feels like a curse, but after many tissues and hour after hour of conversations over the phone with my ex bf I feel like I'm getting to a good place in my relationships with these two amazing people.

Sigh of relief just getting past this trial of life and needed to share it with my friends here on dA and to shed a little light on why I haven't been on here for so long.
Hope everyone had a happy V-day and lives a long loving life! Muah!!!!

I read a lot and I still prefer hard copies (actual physical book in my hands). I guess it's just the feel and smell of paper from a new book that increases the immersion to me.
This is the first installation of a monthly journal I'm going to start, where I will suggest a piece of literary work that I have read and enjoyed. Whether it be a novel, graphic novel, poem, deviation, or any kind of writing that captured my heart or mind.

For my first edition I have selected the novel Jupiter by Ben Bova.
Jupiter

If you have ever read Contact by Carl Sagan and enjoyed it, then Jupiter is right up your ally. Jupiter is more about the journey then the destination. It is heart felt with a test on belief and conviction with the main character Grant Archer, a young astrophysicist who goes on quite the "forced" adventure. Mixed with political espionage, religious zealots, and scientists who just want to discover the truth, the focus is on the characters invovled and there emotions and interactions that lead to Grants evolution spiritually, mentally and physically to the novels conclusion and beyond to you the reader.

This is a very relaxed kind of read, meaning you might not finish it in one sitting but go back to it from time to time. Sort of more like a comfort novel rather than the attention deficit instant action most of us expect from everything nowadays.

I hope some of you give it a try and give it a chance.
Enjoy!

Lana Del Ray

1 min read
If you have never heard of her or heard a song of hers then for some of you be prepared to have you life changed this very night! Elizabeth "Lizzy" Grant (born 21 June 1986), better known as Lana Del Rey, is a singer-songwriter and for me personally blows singers like Adele away a hundred fold. But if you like Adele or soulfull, haunting, jazzy, noir, kind of music then you will love her.

This is my favorite song:

And my second favorite:

Same song but HD audio only plus a bunch of her other songs which also auto loads the youtube music video in a little widget within the page if video is available for that song.
